Versatile Dress

When I buy a piece of clothing, I often ask myself “where would I wear this?” This is a good practice, but I often did not buy something because “ I do not have anywhere to wear that…” and just end up with too much athleisure. I challenged myself to start wearing things that made me feel good regardless of where I was going because it made me happy and feel more productive. I rented this Bettina shirt dress from Nuuly and ended up keeping it because I loved the versatility of it. If I was still working a corporate job, it would be a staple in my work wardrobe. It is a half button-up shirt dress that can be worn in different ways depending on the occasion. It is available in a wide range of sizes, including plus and petite. I am 5’10 with an apple shape. I wore this without a belt and with sneakers to walk around NYC and then paired with pointed flats and a belt to accentuate my waist more for more of a put together look. While they do not have this print available anymore, they have several other prints that would be just as good! I also bought the belt from Anthropologie, my go to source for plus size belts, and I would recommend sizing down! Shoes are Dolce Vita and I love them. I linked exact shoes and a similar (but not pointy toe) pair at Target that are 1/4 of the price. All sizing notes are in the descriptions!
