Sunscreens - Natural Finish
These sunscreens (in my opinion) are good for all skin types! They aren't excessively matte or dewy, and (to me) make the skin look similar to how it looked before the sunscreen was applied.
When I tell you I am absolutely OBSESSED with this, it's so good. No cast or eye stinging, of course, and has the most subtle and delicious fruity/citrus/floral scent. But it's the texture that makes this a winner. It's not greasy at all, but it's water resistant! It glides onto the skin and it's not shiny and it doesn't feel like there's something greasy sitting on your face. I only wish this came in massive sticks. Absolutely obsessed. SMASHED IT.
This is absolutely stunning. A lightweight gel that does leave a slight glow but doesn’t feel heavy at all on the skin. AHC is known for packing it’s products with active ingredients, and this is no exception. There’s antioxidants, brighteners, soothing ingredients, hydrators, and some ingredients that function like peptides. Not sure if these all can get into the skin to do what they need to do, but it’s impressive nonetheless. The texture is weirdly… chunky at first, but it’s smooth once it applies on the skin. Absolutely fantastic.
I’m so impressed with this, like… wow. This is a water resistant US sunscreen spray that ISN’T GREASY?? Incredible. The finish is totally natural on my body. This is also a spray that doesn’t have a pump but doesn’t use aerosol, which is also wild. No cast. I’m so impressed. Perfection from beginning to end.

A perfect sunscreen, imo. The only smell I can detect is the alcohol. Clear gel vehicle with a healthy skoosh of alcohol so it's not as sticky. I absolutely love this.
Oh this is absolute perfection. Water resistant gel without greasiness/tackiness, no cast or eye stinging (on me), light citrus scent with a skoosh of alcohol, and a finish that isn’t typical of water resistant formulas. This is stunning and definitely worth a look if you’re on the hunt for water resistant formulas.
A top tier Australian sunscreen. A ton of protection and water resistance, no cast, and didn’t sting my eyes (it’s possible though). This does have a bit of glow but it feels matte, so it’s a nice blend of those two finishes. Technically this is a body lotion but I’ll definitely use this everywhere. Incredible.
A fantastic Korean sunscreen, what else is new. This sunscreen gel has no cast or eye stinging, leaves a fantastic natural finish that isn’t heavy or shiny, and feels like dream. It has a slight fresh / floral smell that’s noticeable upon application but doesn’t linger. This specific product is relatively tiny (35 mL at the time of writing), but you can find it in packs of two or three, which I absolutely love.
This absolutely fantastic, and is made by the same company that makes one of my all time favorite sunscreens, LG. This sunscreen has an identical ingredient list to the Isa Knox UV Sun Pro, and the formulas are similar, but not identical. It’s still a hybrid sunscreen without any cast, water resistant without being greasy, and a beautiful gel texture. The finish though is slightly more matte, but still not drying at all on me. The scent is also different, with this bringing more citrus notes without being overpowering. An all time favorite; genuinely one of the best sunscreens I’ve ever tried.
This is absolutely incredible. The finish is a little radiant but it doesn't feel heavy or greasy as it goes on. It's also 200 mL which is BANANAS for the price (15 USD at the time of writing). No cast or eye stinging for me either. The size makes this perfect for face and body. It also has an herbal scent that isn't overpowering on me and does linger a bit after application. I am obsessed with this.
To date, this is the best Korean sunscreen I've ever tried, if not one of THE best sunscreens I've ever tried. Hybrid sunscreen without any cast. Water resistant without being greasy. Large sizes. Beautiful gel texture. Natural finish. Slight floral scent without being overpowering. Go get this right now because it is genuinely one of the best I've ever tried.

This looks similar to the Biore watery essence, but they're totally different! This has a citrus scent, but has a natural/satin finish that doesn't make the skin more or less shiny, IMO. It goes on like nothing. No cast or eye stinging, an applies so easily. Stunning.

I mean, could this be any better?? Large size, gel that's easy to apply, no cast, no eye stinging, natural finish, water resistant without being greasy or heavy, just... incredible. What else is there to say??
I do not apply sunscreen sprays to my face (my gut instinct is to inhale) but if I did, this would be one. The finish is almost nonexistent, with only a trace of the scent to be found. No cast, but can't comment on the eye stinging. Overall, this is LOVELY... HOWEVER this does have some white flecks that can get caught in any hair on your face and possibly on your makeup. I rub the spray in and it sheers out, but if you're looking for something as a one and done to put over makeup, this may not be the best option.
So this sunscreen is absolutely beautiful. It’s a lightweight gel that’s moisturizing, but not heavy. No cast at all. AND it’s 100 mL!! An absolute winner for me. The packaging doesn’t have the UVA circle (means that the UVAPF is at least 1/3 of the SPF) but the founder has assured me that it does meet that criteria and it will be present on updated packaging. Everything about this product is absolutely flawless.
This is absolutely incredible. A lot of sunscreen mists tend to be extremely greasy and heavy, and this is neither of those. It's incredibly lightweight and easy to rub in and doesn't leave the skin shiny or sticky. It has a scent that to me smells like watermelon, but not artificial. Actual watermelon. Stunning.
This is absolutely fantastic. This body sunscreen gives a glow but it’s not glittery and shiny and it doesn’t seem to transfer a lot (for me). The lotion is RUNNY though so don’t squeeze too hard. It goes on a little golden brown but it sheers out to a gorgeous transparent and natural finish that isn’t at all greasy. Will absolutely be keeping this in my arsenal.
Y’all… these Nivea sunscreens in the UK drug stores are so good. This is a relatively straightforward formula with no fragrance, unlike the other Nivea sunscreens at Boots. This has a natural finish and I had no problems AT ALL. I’ve heard reports of pilling from this, but I had no issues. This is fantastic!
This is stunning! The best part about this is the finish, a little bit of glow but a nice satin finish. The gel texture is also incredibly cooling on the skin and I loved putting it on. No cast or eye stinging. I'm also incredibly happy it's larger than 50 mL! The water resistance without being shiny is also a fantastic bonus. Absolutely smashed it.
This is a silky lotion and it’s TRULY beautiful. It applies so easily, no cast (didn’t expect any), doesn’t sting my eyes, and has a really nice cocktail of soothing, hydrating, and pigment-fighting ingredients. I think this would be suitable for all skin types because it’s moisturizing, but not heavy at all. An INCREDIBLE sunscreen experience.
Another sunscreen from Purito, oh happy day. In stark contrast to the Daily Go-To Sunscreen, this one has a very natural finish and gives a very slight glow, but isn't shiny or wet. It is like it says, soft to the touch. No cast or eye stinging for me and was easy to apply and felt calming on the skin. I will caution that this does have a sunscreen filter that can leave a cast, so you MIGHT have problems if you are much darker than me and have facial hair. Overall, this is gorgeous and will be one of the sunscreens that I keep on hand.
This is perfection, you hear me? PERFECTION. As the name suggests, this is a gel that has a little bit of heft like a moisturizer and feels hydrating, but isn’t greasy at all. It’s incredibly easy to spread and dries down to a gorgeous natural finish. No cast or eye stinging, obviously. I’m genuinely obsessed with this. NO NOTES.
Finally, an Ultrasun sunscreen I love, and obviously there's no way to get it in the US because of the shipping restrictions on aerosols. Totally invisible with natural finish that dries down on me almost instantaneously. I'm not sure if this has the same technology that powers their other sunscreens that makes them water resistant to the point where you can apply them only once a day (and I don't recommend that), but this is at least water resistant for 40 min. Very impressed.
